Primary Department

The international primary programme is for all primary classes. Our Primary curriculum is developed from the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The English National Curriculum develops essential skills in literacy, numeracy and scientific enquiry in students in the primary phase of children’s education, while the IPC covers solid knowledge bases reflecting a global perspective, history, geography, social studies, health and values as well as creative development. The programme is an excellent preparation for the next phase in students’ learning, providing a foundation for secondary education, leading to the Cambridge Certified Checkpoints (Y7-Y9) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) curriculum (Y10-Y12).

The core subjects (English, Maths and Science) are conducted in English by an internationally diverse teaching certified staff. Additional classes are offered in ICT, Mandarin Chinese, Music, Arts and Physical Education.
