PATHANA PANYATHIP
MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER AND CEO
Sabaidee! Welcome to Panyathip International School It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our Panyathip International School in Vientiane. Let me introduce myself – I am the Founder and Director of the school and first opened Panyathip International School in 2001. Over the past 15 years, we have grown into a Early Years, Primary and Secondary International School, with four campuses in Vientiane. Panyathip was the first International School to be accredited by the Cambridge Curriculum and we are now a Cambridge Examination Centre where we offer the International General Certificate of Education examinations. We were the first school in Laos that offers the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). For our Lao students, we also offer the Lao curriculum and examinations. I am therefore pleased that at Panyathip we can offer the breadth in the curriculum to meet the needs of the diverse International and Lao community. I would like to thank you for considering our school for your child(ren) and wish you a pleasant visit of our school.

SCHOOL HISTORY
In 2001, Pathana Panyathip and Damien Lim decided to build a school for Lao nationals. Our founders wanted the students to experience an education with international standards, upholding the Lao values and cultures. In its first year, the school offered Kindergarten to Grade 3 with a total of 38 students and 12 teachers.
From these humble beginnings, the school has undergone a remarkable transformation. Since the number of students (including foreign students) has grown rapidly, the school has moved twice from the first campus in Naxay Village, Saysettha District to the present site in Sapanthong Neua, Sisattanak District. Also, to accommodate the demands for our Kindergarten School, a separate campus in Sapanthong Tai, Sisattanak District was also built.
In 2015 Panyathip opened another new purpose built campus in Savannakhet in order to assist the development of the province by providing high quality British international education for locals and expats. Since opening the school has grown and in 2018/2019 will go up to Year 10.
In 2017 a second Kindergarten was opened in Nonsavanh village and in 2018 will begin its primary classes.
In 2018 a purpose built Primary School close to the Kindergarten was opened making the school unique in Laos by providing purpose-built facilities for all three major phases of learning.
